Over 120 students receive youth-guided academic, social and cultural opportunities that promote learning and self-esteem necessary for life-long success.
Monday-Friday 3-6pm throughout Duval County Public School year

The Carpenter’s Shop Center, through a partnership with Daniel Kids, provides a mental health therapist to work directly with children and families in individual and group settings.
18+ job training program
Over 120 students are anchored in a safe and supportive program for 6 weeks with interactive academic activities, engaging field trips, and summer fun activities. Students acquire new skills, feel valued for who they are and develop a sense of belonging.

Our science class always has tons of fun with wacky science projects. Each year we offer a special new topic, recently with a focus on robotics and programming.
Partnered with Cathedral Arts, we’re offering band and orchestra instruments to students 4 times a week.
Life Skills Class
Our rotating social and emotional learning curriculum focuses on important life skills.
We take reading seriously! We offer both an in-house literacy class and weekly trips to the reading lab on Jacksonville University campus for one-on-one training with professionals.
